I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

OMG!!!!! I love this place!! If it was not for the Managers (Candice and Brianna) I would be so frustated with laser hair removal. It is them that keeps me going. They have the BEST customer service skills out there!! And they sure do know their stuff. I highly recommoned this location over any other hair removal place in town. Even over the other American Laser Center. My hat goes off to such passionate driven young ladies!!! If your thinking of doing any laser hair removal or skin rejuvanation this is the place and ladies to go too!!!

BEWARE!!! Worst choice ever made in my life!!!

Oh sure Candice is great until you have a concern because the treatments do NOT work at all. She will not call you back, she will talk about you to her employees, she will agree to give you a "credit" and not follow through. Then 3 months later when you call to discuss why corporate knows nothing about the credit, she will accuse you of being rude and tell you how she does not appreciate you telling her employee that she will not call you back. Cause you know, it's all about Candice! American Laser Centers made me feel horrible about myself and my skin, pointed out scars that weren't even there and convinced me I needed these treatments. So $9300 later I express that I am dissatisfied with treatment. Instead of switching it out with another treatment I was swindled into buying another package. BEWARE!! These people will make you feel 2ft tall, will belittle you, and try to trick you into buying treatments you do not need. Please take my advice, save yourself some money and grief and just go somewhere else.

American Laser Institute Rip Off Please listen because I didn't

It sounds like I had the same experience as user name ALCsucks. Unfortunately, I didn't listen to all the reviews about saving my money and not being ripped off. They charged me 9600 and the velashapes/smooths DID NOT work. I left every treatment what looked like severe burn marks. My family was concerned and thought this couldn't be the way I should look after each treatment. They marked me up pretty bad, I even got shocked once because they didn't dry the tools they were using and mixed it with some lotion. For your bank account, saftey I would NOT go. Candace acts like your best friend then turns on you!!! They WILL NOT REFUND!!!!

Shady Operation

This whole operation is a scam. At my supposedly no-obligation consultation, the clinic manager/receptionist kept trying to convince me to get more and more expensive treatment packages (by throwing in "free" treatments), despite the fact that I told her I couldn't afford the cheaper packages! Unfortunately, she succeeded. I wish I had been stronger, but when you're being told that these treatments can make your body better, it's hard not to succumb to it.

Logic flew out the window when I sat down there, because I agreed to sign up for these treatments that I can't afford. I think she knew I was reluctant, because when I was scheduling my appointments, she made sure to get me in there that same day for my first session. Had I had time to really think it over, I feel like I would have come to my senses and not had that first session and therefore not be regretting this most unfortunate error on my part.

I've now cancelled my remaining sessions but the paperwork claims I must pay for the entire treatment, despite only undergoing one out of six treatments and being very unhappy with the first session.

There are a couple times she flat-out lied to me. She told me that the treatments were done by RN's or nurse practitioners, when it was clearly a tech who performed the treatment on me. She didn't explain anything to me and was in general very unprofessional, telling me how she had wanted to reschedule my appointment so she could get out of there early (now I wish she would have!)

The tech also told me that I would most likely need more than six treatments to ger rid of all of my hair. This makes me feel like the company is less concerned about offering effective treatments than it is about making money!

The other time the manager lied to me is when she told me that my monthly payments would be $100. Looking at the paperwork more closely since my appointment, I see that it says my monthly payments are $160!

Fortunately I cancelled all of my velashape/smooth appointments before the first one, but the paperwork still claims that I have to pay $300 for a supposed administrative fee! It's absolutely ridiculous.

This place preys on people who don't like their bodies. Once they get you in a really vulnerable position, they'll scam you out of your life savings. I desperately wish I had read these reviews before I had gone to my consultation, because I wouldn't have gone there in the first place and I wouldn't have gotten myself into this terrible predicament!

P.S. I was required to give a rating to publish this review, but if I had been allowed to, I would give American Laser Centers no stars.

Long time customer

I have been going to ALC for quite some time, and I have not experienced what others have in regards to this facility. The staff at Canyon Ridge have always been professional and courteous, work with my schedule, and they keep the facility quite clean. In fact, I've commended the staff for making certain that treatment rooms, as well as the protective eye wear is clean before each customer use.

I can only speak for myself, but it's unfortunate that others have had bad experiences with ALC. I have enjoyed getting my treatments at the Canyon Ridge location, and the staff has always been cooperative with my needs. The gals at ALC are extremely nice and fun, so I definitely plan on continuing my treatments at this location. I am grateful for their all around professionalism and kindness..

A Wonderful Experience

I want to share my wonderful experience with the world. I have also ways been the one at family gathering that took the pictures os that I didn't have to be in them. Well thanks to American Laser Center here in Austin that has completely changed. This past Christmas Season we were having our normal family get together and as I said earlier I was always the one to take the pictures so I didn't have to be in them because I never felt that I looked good. This year my daughter in law slipped around and took a picture of me and my grand daughter when I wasn't watching. She thought it was great and she decided to show it to me and I could not believe my eyes it was a great picture of me. I was so surprised that I told her that she could take all the pictures she wanted to and I would not fuss. Since starting the Skin Tightening and Microdermabrasion Treatments I have had so many people comment on my skin and how young I look and ask what I have done to make my skin glow and look so fresh. Needless to say I smile from ear to ear but then I share my experience at American Laser Center with them. They can see the results for themselves I don't have to do anything. I see the results and feel like a different confident person and I do truly owe it all to American Laser Center.

Candice & Brianna NO MORE!! yay, they are gone!!!

Jessica is the new manager. She makes all the difference in the world. I take the time to try to keep up with my appearance, and I also spend the money to stay looking decent. ALC cannot fix someone who went years and years without any beauty treatments whatsoever. It's unreasonable to expect a "magician" to come and help out by and wave a magic wand. It cannot happen that way. Everyone has to do their part to take care of themselves daily. ALC is a serene spa like atmosphere. They are there to pamper and provide esthetician services. For that, they get 2 thumbs up.

This place is a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place is a SCAM!!! this is AMERICAN LASER CENTERS operating under a different name to avoid their negative reputation..just google "american laser centers reviews" and see for yourself...i recommend not going here they will take your money and you will not have any results. They have no customer service. Everyone wins the contest for $$ off a package its their way of luring you in the door-they have a ton of class action suits against them and many unhappy customers!
