McKenna Financial Services and Insurances, Inc., came into existence in the late 1970s, and was started by Douglas C. McKenna in San Jose, California. Doug’s philosophy always was that the way to provide the best products and services to our clients and future clients was to maintain our independence. To this day we never allow anyone to dictate to us what products our clients should be purchasing.

At about the same time Doug’s son Craig also decided that he wanted to enter financial services industry. After working for Zions Investment Securities, Inc. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Zions Bank) in Utah County for 12 ½ years Craig took over the business from his father in 2005. Craig blended his father’s philosophy of maintaining independence with his motto of “because it’s personal.”

As a growing and expanding business we pride ourselves in being independent and we love to work with you and your families. We understand how important it is to make financial decisions together and we are all here to help you in any way you see fit. We understand that you have financial struggles and we love to help answer questions and help people to move forward.
