James J. Lu, MD

Dr. Lu, specializing in spinal surgery, is with the SSM Health Neurosciences at SSM Health DePaul Hospital - St. Louis and at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - Lake Saint Louis. He received a medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. He also completed a spinal fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Spine Institute. Dr. Lu is trained to diagnose and treat disorders involving the nervous system, including the brain, spinal cord, nerves, skull, and spinal column.
