Dr Ralph Silverman is a colon and rectal surgeon, specializing in treatment of colon cancer, rectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease — both ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease — diverticulitis and colon polyps. He also performs anorectal procedures for common issues such as hemorrhoids, rectal bleeding and fecal incontinence. He uses the latest minimally invasive techniques in his practice to improve surgical outcomes and reduce recovery time for patients.
Dr Silverman is an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of General Surgery, at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colorectal Surgeons.
