On your first visit, I will identify what is causing your problem, ie; joint subluxation/misalignment, muscle strain, nerve impingement, etc. I will then tell you how long I expect it will take to fix your problem. I believe strongly in communication. No one knows your body better than you, so I intend to listen, then evaluate you and get you treated so your recovery can begin ASAP. We employ several different techniques with varying degrees of pressure, because not everyone is built the same. That said, my primary technique is "Diversified" which is a hands on approach. I also use "Flexion-Distraction" which helps decompress the lumbar spine and is very useful for disc problems or when twisting of the lower back is contraindicated. Thompson, SOT and activator techniques are also employed when needed or requested. Electrical muscle stimulation and therapeutic Ultrasound is used for pain and inflammation reduction, and some nerve issues like Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
