It was in 1922 that we first began operations, when Mr. Edward Wigdahl opened his business at the corners of Belmont and Milwaukee in Chicago, Illinois. The firm initially specialized in the hanging of light fixtures, which was an important electrical entity of building construction at that time. To accompany this form of business, The Wigdahl Company maintained a large display room containing the most current array of lighting fixtures.

As business progressed, the company branched into additional forms of electrical operations which ultimately increased in a total electrical service business. Today, we offer these services to industrial complexes, shopping centers and institutional buildings, including schools, colleges
