Great Bargains and Great People
For thrift store shopping I have found that the Rock River Valley is severely lacking in generous givers. However, the people of Belvidere must be the exception to this rule. The Salvation Army in Belvidere has a great selection of books including children's books, which is changing weekly. I also recommend them for their toy selection. I have found several hard to find toys for my son that I have seen on e-bay for 2-3 times as much as you pay at the Salvation Army. The staff is great and always friendly!
