BEWARE! Used this guy in 2000 for repairs on my HUD home. He agreed to specified repairs/remodeling in his contract as well as a deadline to complete the work. The deadline arrived and he hadn't even begun the major part of the work. Went days at a time working at other jobs while not showing up at mine which was already past his agreed completion date. Had to repeatedly call to get updates and find out when he was showing up. He tried to weasel out of some of the agreed upon work such as door knobs, knobs on the kitchen cabinets. Substituted items that I had specifically requested for cheaper ones without my consent, even when I told him I would pay for the upgrades. Cheaper cabinets, cheaper ceiling tiles, etc. They even looked much different than what I requested, so it wasn't even a comparable substitution. Ordered a nice, leaded glass FRONT door, but he couldn't even measure it properly and it turned out to be the wrong size for the door frame. He said he couldn't return it, so I ended up having to use it as my BACK door (something too nice and costly for a back door, and something I never would have ordered, but still ended up paying for the upgrade). Poor workmanship on the things he did do. Had my own friends/family go through later on to fix a lot of what he did. Eventually left me without crown moldings on kitchen cabinets, missing baseboards in some rooms, missing doorknobs, and more. THIS IS NOT THE GUY TO CALL IF YOU WANT QUALITY WORK DONE IN A REASONABLE TIME FRAME!! My only consolation is that I have spread the word about him over the last 12 years and have diverted anyone I have spoken to away from his business.
