Import Specialists was founded in Boulder, Colorado on August 1, 1980 by Richard and Carol Hughes. Today the business is lead by their son Rick who proudly carries on the Hughes family tradition of service and excellence. MISSION STATEMENT Our purpose is to provide prompt and efficient repair services. We employ only professional technicians, and use only high quality parts at a fair price. Our prime concern is for the welfare and safety of our customers and employees. Import Specialists moved to 6519 Arapahoe Ave in 1985, a new shop built to our specifications, specially designed for auto repair. We strive to provide a clean and efficient environment to work on your car. We have fast access to thousands of parts through computer contact with major suppliers locally and across the country. Our service manager, Rick, has 25 years of experience as a certified technician and service advisor. Rick can help you plan a service maintenance schedule tailored to your car. Our ASE certified technicians have access to the latest factory information and bulletins, making diagnosis of problems faster and more accurate. Our customers are the best; some of them have been allowing us to work on their vehicles for the entire 30 years Import Specialists has been in business!
