Michael W. Mariscalco, MD

Dr. Michael Mariscalco specializes in sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee, and shoulder replacement surgery. He played collegiate soccer and was previously drafted into Major League Soccer. As a former athlete, he understands how musculoskeletal problems can significantly affect patients, both physically and mentally. He listens to each patient and strives to provide individualized care while incorporating the latest technology.

Dr. Mariscalco has been with the OrthoVirginia group in Richmond since completing his fellowship training in 2013. He is married and the proud father of four children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with is family, hiking, biking and coaching youth soccer.
