Nilsen Eye Care was founded in 1998, when Dr. Eric Nilsen traveled south from his home in upstate New York in search of warm weather and a friendly community where he could set up his practice. He is thankful and appreciative to call Midlothian and Richmond his home.

Our core values include community, teamwork and constant improvement. Everyone on our staff works together seamlessly, and what binds us together is the belief that we are doing way more than just selling glasses and fitting contact lenses. We are truly caring for the neighbors, friends and colleagues who we share our community with.
