Carrillo, DMD, a premium dental care provider in the Richmond, Virginia, community for over a decade. Dr. Carrillo and his staff combine individualized attention to their patients with the latest and least invasive technology and techniques, elements of what the team likes to call “dentistry with integrity and genuine care.”
Dr. Carrillo and his team are fluent in English and Spanish, and their care extends from pediatric to geriatric patients as they strive to provide the best dental care for everyone’s long-term dental health. The practice has in-house and third-party financing available to maximize its availability to improve patients’ smiles and enhance their quality of life.
Dr. Carrillo came to Richmond from Bogota, Colombia, where he attended dental school at the Escuela Colombiana De Medicina. After dental school, Dr. Carrillo took 15 months to fulfill social services as a dentist in the Amazon rainforest. Upon his return, he completed a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Universidad El Bosque and obtained a second degree at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Dr. Carrillo is committed to providing dental care to people of any socioeconomic status, and he has participated in the CrossOver Healthcare Ministry clinics and a number of community events in Richmond. When he’s not in the office, Dr. Carrillo enjoys running in half marathons and hiking and camping with his family.
