Poor service from beginning to end
I Valet parked at Cherry Creek Mall and was asked it I had ever parked there before (the young man had a very condescending attitude). I don't drive a Porsche but I valet park sometimes. I was meeting a friend, told the Hostess my name and my parties name, I was seated by the kitchen, there were lots of open table throughout the restaurant. I sat there for 10 minutes before I was greeted by my waiter, well not really greeted , he said he'd be right back. 10 minutes later he asked if I wanted something to drink. 10 more minutes went by and I called my friend to see where she was, she said she was at Kona and asked for me and the Host told her no one was waiting for any one so she went back to her car to get her phone and called me. I told her where I was sitting,.Then I asked if I could move, and was seated in a booth that smelled like a used ashtray and garbage, the food was OK ,not great the service was absolutely horrible. I think just because a restaurant is located in Cherry Creek doesn't mean people will continue to eat there if service is lousy. I won't.

OK happy hour prices, everything else about it is weak
The ONLY reason to come here is for the happy hour. You can get sake bombs and and mediocre sushi and/or pizza for reasonable prices. The outdoor patio is nice. The catch is that it's always crowded and not easy to get a table. Plus, it's crowded with $30K annual income, living off American Express, tool bags pre-gaming before they head down to some Lodo ultra-lounge. Overall, it's OK, but for a better late-night happy hour in Cherry Creek, head to Tambien between 2nd and 3rd on Steele for $1 tacos and $2.50 Tecates.

Passive Aggressive Service
What is going on w/ our younger generation? What's happening in high schools and colleges now? The hostess and servers are so young, yet behave as though life has already taken them out and holding them down. Sad.

Kona Grill Denverv - The Best
I had a great experience at the Denver Kona Grill. My girlfriend and I had a nice evening out that included dinner at Kona Grill. I read some reviews on this site but was keeping an open mind and was very impressed. The service was great for starters, our sever was very pleasant and knowledgeable about their menu. The food was very decent, it had an island flair, an asian accent, but still still very recognizable. Their Mac Chicken is to die for. All and all I would recommend Kona Grill Denver to anyone! I will definitely be back...
