Nice place
I was a little weary about getting an artifical tan my first time. The staff at the salon was very conforting when i almost backed out. they explained to me all the pros and cons of getting the tan there. I love how the tan looks and have been back several time sense going. Give them a try for your first tan too.

U TAN - SHORT PUMP, RICHMOND, VA
1st. visit - I paid for a special - Mystic Tan package and was very disappointed in the room. No paper towels (the sign says remove barrier cream with paper towels, no mirror, no place to put your feet on in order to apply the barrier cream, 1 small towel.2nd. visit - I was told I had to pay $5 extra for the Level 3 Mystic tan; this wasn't on the sign posted when I purchased the special and I wasn't charged the 1st. time. The employee was very rude and said well, what level do you want?3rd. Visit - sign on door said Sunday Hours- 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM. On July 6th, at 12:10 PM - no one was there and it was closed.J. Horrible Expereince
Don't waste your time or money! This place is under terrible management, old beds, mystic tan does not work and the facility is outdated, old and the rooms are not clean. There are much better tanning salons in the Richmond area, I strongly suggest any other salon over U-Tan in Short Pump.

Don't waste your time or money
I was very disappointed with the beds and service. The people that work there do not know anything about anything. You ask them a question and they don't know they will have to check with a manager, and they are rude. The manager is never in or available.

This PLACE IS HORRIBLE! Do not go here if you can. I bought a special and they said if I want to cancel to do so before the 15th of every month. Well, I went to cancel after 3 month of tanning there on the 11th, and they told me I had to cancel 5 days before the 15th! SERIOUSLY...tell people to cancel on the 10th of every month NOT the 15th.
