Nice
A friend and I went to Michelle's for lunch, and were very pleased. We had a hard time finding the entrance at first, you have to walk around the back and go in downstairs. They had just opened when we ate there, so perhaps they have a sign marked by now- but it took as awhile to find our way in. The service was fast and efficient, and the prices were more reasonable than we were expecting. I just got a burger and fries, and my friend a sandwich, but they were both very good. My friend has returned since for dinner, and she said the prices were much higher, but the food was excellent.

Michelle's Restaurant is not worth the trip!
Hard to find! Very disappointed in service and dinner was bland, no taste at all. Basic food for the over seventy crowd with upper middle-class prices. Not worth the trip!!

A brunch delight!
It was the perfect fall Sunday. I was in the mood for a cosy brunch in an old historic inn. We found the perfect place. Michelle's Restaurant in the old historic Hanover Tavern fit the bill perfectly. Seated in the glassed-in backporch, the view of the sun-lit back yard was just the ticket. The brunch menu was hard to choose from, everything looked so interesting. Truly a gourmet treat. Their Bloody Mary's were tall and impressively garnished. We started with the oyster appetizer - tasty morsels with a shittake pesto. The cheese grits, shrimp, and sausage dish was garnished with fried brussel sprout leaves - they were caramelized, and were the most amazing compliment to the dish. The only complaints - the a/c was cranked a little higher than it needed to be, and I was freezing - yes, the waiter knew it. The service was slow, but as we weren't in a hurry, it was not an issue - but could use some improvement. And the service was a little inattentive. I get tired of continuing to have to flag down a waiter to have coffee refilled, and forks replaced.

Race seems to be a problem here
I think it is wrong to send your black employees home because the KKK wants to hold an honor meeting at your rest. I thought most companies these day were EOE I guess this place is going to get sued.. I think it is wrong and michelle should be ashamed of herself to do such a thing to employees that have bills to pay and mouths to feed.. The place is haunted and the food was awful and the service was horrible.. The servers were rude and didn't even take the time to get my order right..

I would not reccomend Michelle's to anyone
I drove to richmond, va. from Mechanicsburg, Pa. to take my mother to dinner on mothers day. Reservations had been made by Mr. Haselton for 4:00pm. we arrived at 3:45 pm on mothers day, was seated fairly promptly. Our drink order was taken, i had ordered a beer. when the drinks arrived, there was not glass for the beer. I had to flag the waiter down and told him i would like a glass.

Three Lovely Dinners and hoping for more
I've been lucky enough to have had dinner at Michelle's several times over the past year and have thoroughly enjoyed all of them. Dinners one and three were with another couple, and dinner two was with 10 girlfriends. The food was delicious. I've tried the she crab soup (best in town), the crab cakes (so hard to order anything else once you've had them), the desserts (yum, but bigger would be better). My husband has had the pork which he loved. Friends ordered everything on the menu and loved it. So, looking forward to returning on August 14th for another great meal!About this listing: Information on this page may be sourced from business owners, public records, and trusted data partners. 2findlocal provides these details to help users discover local businesses and services.
