The Henkes Welsh Agency

Larry Henkes and Cary Welsh first began working together in 2001 as board members with the Northern Nevada Independent Agents Association. In 2003, Cary joined the agency; Larry had been there since 1998. As their careers grew, they talked about forming their own agency. This came to fruition in early 2006. Henkes Welsh Insurance was the first true start up property casualty agency formed in the area in the past twenty years. ISU Insurance Services assisted the agency's growth by helping them gain access to many insurance carriers and other resources.
