Landmark Medical Center

Landmark Medical Center was created in 1988 by the merging of the former Woonsocket Hospital and John E. Fogarty Memorial Hospital, two healthcare institutions that had been part of the fabric of Northern Rhode Island and the neighboring Massachusetts communities for more than 130 years.In December, 2013, Landmark Medical Center was purchased by Prime Healthcare Services, which has pledged millions of dollars in capital improvements, increase physician recruitment, and upgraded medical equipment, and to stabilize this vital community institution.
