Wasn't overly impressed
Hershey Plaza Dental was the first dentist I visited upon moving to Bloomington. They had a bit of a wait to get in for a cleaning. I was upset that I waited for almost an hour and a half before being called. The hygentist who cleaned my teeth was fine and did a satisfactory job. The dentist was not very personable though, and barely spent more than a minute talking to me. They also used a device to scan for cavities, and told me that I needed 6 fillings. I went to another dentist for a second opinion, and was told I only needed one.

SO little time with the dentist
I would have to say that I was more than disappointed with my visits to this office. I was told that I clench my teeth at night and would suffer from worn enamel and future cavaties if I did not get fitted for a night guard. $400 later, my teeth wake me up at night, squeezed into this device. The dentist herself literally spent two minutes in the room and walked out the door. I did not feel that this was money well spent, nor were my teeth the top priority.

Hard Sell
Be prepared for the hard sell at this office. They recommended many procedures that were not truly necessary. They recommended a cancer screening and I'm not in the age or high risk class that the American Dental Association even recommends for giving this test - not covered by insurance of course. My uncle in my home state is an old-fashioned dentist in private practice and told me to run fast and run far from these people who have high student loans and latest and greatest equipment to pay for.

Hershey Plaza Dental Ctr is a joke
4.5 hours @ the dentist office the first time i was there. staff that is new and uneducated in their procedures. was told i would get interest free financing for 36 months....turned out to be a complete lie. was surprised by how dirty and unorganized the office was. it literally had markings on the wall that looked like preschoolers took crayons and drew all over. be prepared to block out a good portion of your day to sit in a dirty office and pay for it----with interest!!!!

Pain
I needed a root canal and crown - they did such a bad job I never went back for the permanent crown. You never want to hear the word "improvise" at the dentist office!American Express
