Universal Dental Studio: Sehyung Jang, DDS

At Universal Dental Studio, family and general dentist Sehyung Jang, DDS, and his team provide complete oral health care to people of all ages living in and around Indio, California, and throughout Riverside County.

Dr. Jang was born in Philippines and raised in Seoul, South Korea. After completing his military service in the air defense artillery, he moved to the United States and enrolled at Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee. There, Dr. Jang earned his bachelor’s degree, graduating magna cum laude.

The next year, he moved west and enrolled at the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in Loma Linda, California. Dr. Jang excelled in the program, obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery.

Since entering private practice, Dr. Jang has honed his skills. He has extensive experience performing preventive, general, and cosmetic dentistry, including crowns, root canals, extractions, and dental implants. Dr. Jang also offers specialized care, including night guards for bruxism (teeth grinding) and teeth whitening.

Dr. Jang takes a conservative and patient-centered approach to dentistry. He emphasizes the importance of brushing, flossing, and eating a balanced diet. Dr. Jang speaks English and Korean fluently and enjoys getting to know his patients. 

He’s committed to quality communication and strives to ensure everyone has a comfortable and welcoming experience. When he isn’t meeting with patients, Dr. Jang regularly participates in continuing education. 

He proudly holds membership in several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Tri-County Dental Association.
