Colt’s Lodge began in 1954 as Sunrise Villa, a rustic, western-styled hotel, and from 1999 to 2013, the hotel was known as Alpine Gardens.
New owners took over the hotel in 2013 and reopened in 2015 as Colt’s Lodge. Investing over $1,000,000 in renovations and upgrades, the owners have completely redone all 11 rooms along with the grounds, meeting area, and kitchen. Today, Colt’s Lodge is one of the top rated boutique hotels in all of Palm Springs.
