Golden Animal Hospital is a full service facility providing the finest professional health care for your pet. We operate in the best of the present and past. Dr. Mickey Golden's Tallapoosa County roots inspired a practice focused on the kind of personal care common in small towns for generations. But our practice keeps pace with today's leading edge treatments to provide the very best and latest care for your pet.

The clinic was founded by Dr. Golden as Carville Animal Hospital in 1985, two years after his graduation from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to that, he worked in a suburban Atlanta practice as well as a practice here locally. As the new millennium was born, the medical staff grew with addition of Dr. Holladay Simmons in 2001. Her addition provided additional focused attention for our clients.
