Awesome thrift shop
The Rescue Mission in Prattville is a very small yet great thrift shop. I used to shop at it two or three times a week just because you'd never know what you'd miss. You can purchase furniture at this one (reasonably priced & many items of furniture there are brand-new). They have a lot of clothing and books and just knick-knacks. They have lots of kids toys and that type things. They run the occasional sale on many things and you might can get ten books for $1, etc. It's hit or miss what you'll find or what is on sale. It seemed to be run different than the one in Wetumpka. I was always quite pleased with it. Parking is easy and the staff is very friendly. Overall, I'd recommend it highly. You can be in and out of it in 30 min.
