Ellen has been a Madison-area resident for the last 30 years and loves the myriad challenges that buying and selling real estate presents. Helping clients find what they need, with a fine detail orientation and thoroughness is her hallmark. Ellen's early years as a broadcast journalist serve her well in processing information quickly and using technology efficiently to help meet the needs of clients. Sitting on a Wisconsin Supreme Court appointed ethics committee for the last five years has further helped Ellen to perceive issues from all angles, and honed her ability to mindfully listen to client's needs. Translating those needs into finding the perfect home is what she does best.

Ellen loves this community and has deep roots here. She is also a second generation realtor. Her Mom sold real estate in Chicago for twenty years, and that's where she grew up.

In the 1970's, Ellen attended the University of Illinois and graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism. Before being licensed as a realtor, she taught foreign language in both Madison and Middleton, so she is very familiar with these area school systems.
