Roy Hyman, OD

Roy Hyman, OD, is a dedicated optometrist serving the community of Louisville, Kentucky. A Louisville native, Dr. Hyman graduated from Louisville Male High School and has worked in optometry for over 40 years.
Dr. Hyman attended the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville before receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry. Dr. Hyman is skilled in the ability to translate his eye exams into a wearable pair of glasses or contact lenses. He is able to detect, diagnose, and manage the care of eye diseases that require medical and non-medical treatment. Dr. Hyman provides post-operative care for cataract and LASIK surgery, in addition to the co-management of chronic eye health problems.
Dr. Hyman has a wonderful sense of humor, which allows for ease of interaction with his patients and has staffed his office with an eye care team that is second to none.
