Norman Ellingsen, M.D.

General Orthopaedics

Dr. Ellingsen received his medical degree from Georgetown University and completed his residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Prior to joining Bluegrass Orthopaedics in 2000, Dr. Ellingsen practiced at the Lexington clinic. Author of many publications, Dr. Ellingsen’s written works include the 1974 Mayo Clinic publication, Pathologic Fractures and Reconstruction.

Dr. Ellingsen is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedics Surgeons, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and certified by the Board of Independent Medical Examiners
