Karen Kornreich, M.D.

Dr. Karen S. Kornreich is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist in Beverly Hills, California, who has been improving the lives of women for over two decades.
Although Dr. Kornreich provides gynecological care to women of all ages, she has a dedicated interest in women who are perimenopausal or in menopause. With that commitment, in 2001, Dr. Kornreich became one of the few certified menopause clinician specialists in the Los Angeles area with the North American Menopause Society.
Utilizing a holistic and integrative approach, Dr. Kornreich provides a highly customized treatment plan for each woman after taking a complete medical history, discussing symptoms in detail, and performing a thorough physical examination. Versed in a full scope of gynecologic treatment options, Dr. Kornreich’s tailored programs may include: nutrition and exercise recommendations, herbal supplements, birth control counseling, STD screening, bone density evaluation, as well as, appropriate referrals for mammograms and colonoscopies. For her perimenopausal and menopausal patients, in addition to the above, Dr. Kornreich may also discuss bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, treatment for vaginal atrophy with local estrogen or non-estrogen therapy as well as the FDA-approved MonaLisa Touch® vaginal CO2 laser.
A long-time resident of California, Dr. Kornreich earned her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara. She went on to earn her medical degree at the University of California, Davis, followed by an internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Kornreich is on the medical staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and performs outpatient gynecological surgeries at the Roxbury Surgery Center in Beverly Hills.
