Dr. Mancherian obtained her Bachelor’s in Political Science at the University of California-San Diego. She then went on to graduate with a degree in Biology from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. Following this, she obtained her graduate degree as a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. Her residency training was completed at the Veterans Affairs hospital in North Chicago specializing in Medicine and then at St. Joseph's Hospital affiliated with Northwestern University also in Chicago, specializing in Surgery. She is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the California Podiatric Medical Association, and the Los Angeles County Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Mancherian is board certified by the American Board of multiple specialties in Podiatric Surgery and has been a podiatrist since 2002.
Dr. Mancherian is a mother of two active boys and has been a Los Angeles resident since 2002, relocating from Chicago. She has been in private practice since 2002 and has an extensive background in chiropractic care and physical therapy. Prior to entering podiatry school, she worked for five years as a chiropractic assistant and massage/physical therapist.
Through her chiropractic background, Dr. Mancherian learned how foot health is essential for the health of the entire body. Her grandfather was a podiatrist, so as a family they always paid more attention to their feet. She also walked a mile in your shoes when as a teenager Dr. Mancherian was plagued with knee pain which was successfully treated with a pair of custom orthotics, changing her life for the better.
