Dr. Erika Wandel

Dr. Wandel is a Board-certified Ophthalmologist and Fellowship-trained Glaucoma Specialist. She graduated from the University of Chicago with honors and has done humanitarian work in Brussels and Eastern Europe with the United Nations in addition to helping establish health care services in underserved areas of Chicago. Dr. Wandel attended medical school at New York Medical College, followed by Internship at Greenwich Hospital where she received awards for her compassionate care. She completed her residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, followed by a Glaucoma Fellowship at Mt. Sinai Hospital.

She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society, and has delivered academic lectures at local meetings and international conferences. She is also an Ophthalmology Attending Physician at Yale New Haven Hospital.
