"Montowese Health and Rehabilitation is conveniently located off of I-91 just outside of New Haven, Montowese offers the highest quality of rehabilitative and nursing care. We are a CARF accredited rehabilitation provider, which guarantees the excellence of our program. Unlike many local nursing homes, which offer few rehabilitation services, Montowese was designed with rehabilitation in mind.

The brainchild of a Registered Nurse and an Industrial Engineer, our 120 bed family-owned facility combines caring and efficiency to the benefit of each of our patients. Our goal is to help patients recover quickly and comfortably from disabling illness or injury. We focus on successfully returning our patients to their maximum level of independent function, thereby enabling them a productive return to their home and work environments. In addition to our intensive inpatient rehabilitation program, we also offer outpatient therapy services. Our patients benefit from this continuum of care and feel comfortable returning to our familiar environment.
