PT home Improvements did a horrible job on the installation of my doors and windows. They left big gaps around my windows and doors. I couldn’t lock my dead bolts both doors where not level they where barely screwed into the frame. They even caulked the drain holes in my brand new windows. I also found tools missing from my garage where he (Phil Tolento) stored everything. I tried to get Phil Tolento back to fix the issues but once he saw there was an issue I can no longer get him to answer his phone. What a ripoff artist!

Terrible. Look elsewhere. Anywhere. Had a master bathroom addition by Phil Tolento of pt home improvements about 3 years ago and the only thing he could handle was nickel and diming me on anything and everything along the way. Overpriced. Shoddy workmanship and now I'm looking to others to fix or replace a lot of the work they did and materials they used.

I had PT Home improvements of miller place quote on a deck with 2 other contractors. Pt Home improvements quote was double the price of the other 2 contractors. they had come in at around 16k while phil quoted me over 30K. I decided to call phil the owner to see what the differences were since there was such a big gap. I was thinking that there may have been an error or some misunderstanding with the project. When i asked phil about the quote he got very angry with me and started to tell me that i was just trying to get him to come down in price and that i should not expect him to work for free. i tried to explain that the other 2 quotes were 1/2 the price of what he had given me and i just wanted to confirm what he was quoting. he told me that i was lying about the other 2 quotes and that there was no way that they could do the project for that price. i kindly thanked phil for his time and called another contractor. the guy is a hothead and i'm glad i went with another contractor. the deck turned out great and cost me 1/2 the price. stay away from PT Home improvements.
