this is the most unethical business I have ever encountered. They will quote you one price, then hold your belongings hostage until you pay 3 times the quote.

Awful Moving Company
Absolutely do not use. They moved us from Boston to CT and arrived at the apartment 2 hours late without moving boxes or wrapping paper. The movers grumbled when they had to wrap things using pages from magazines that we provided them with - as if it was our fault that they came unprepared. Then, when moving the furniture into the house, they refused to use furniture pads on the steel bed frame and scratched up our walls terribly. We will never use them again and strongly recommend that you do not either.

I moved from CT to NYC recently. I highly recommend Murphy Moving & Storage. They were the lowest bidder and most professional. Dennis supervised the packing and unpacking of my house. All the workers were very professional, neat and punctual. Moving into a high rise is difficult but it ended up being stress free.The way they worked with the building personal when we showed up early was outstanding.
