Terrible place to do business
We purchased a Serta mattress that became defective in the first four months. Mattress King charged me $75 to deliver a new identical mattress. The new mattress developed a significant dip in the center after two nights of being slept on by a 112 pound individual. The manager of Mattress King says she isn't responsible for the problem, and would charge to have the replacement mattress inspected and then charge again to have another mattress delivered. When asked if the defective mattress could be replaced with the next step down Serta mattress, the manager said she would have to charge an EXTRA $100 for this downgraded model that retails for $100 less, so that she can cut her loss. What loss? This is a terrible place to do business. The warranty is as good as the business ethics of the store where you purchase the mattress. The store manager of Mattress King says they aren't responsible for product defects.
