Dr. Hope is a general surgeon who specializes in both Minimally Invasive General and Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Hope grew up in Pennsylvania and completed his medical school training at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He subsequently completed his General Surgery training in Richmond, Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System. After completing his training in General Surgery he went on to UPMC in Pittsburgh to complete his fellowship and Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Hope has now started his practice at Lancaster General Hospital and performs both minimally invasive and general surgery. He specializes gallbladder disease, hernia and other gastrointestinal surgery. He also performs skin and soft tissue surgery and all other general surgical procedures.
