Sunshine Christian Daycare

Sunshine Christian Daycare and Learning Center is a Keystone star certified center, under the PA Keystone STARS Child Care Quality Initiative. To obtain the star status, Sunshine demonstrated high performance standards in the areas of staff education, learning environment and administration. Here at Sunshine Christian Daycare and Learning Center we view each child as a unique and special person with his or her own pattern and timing of growth. We are devoted to providing a wealth of opportunities for discoveries, new experiences, problem solving, and accomplishments. We believe that all areas of a young child's development (social, emotional, physical and cognitive) are integrated and that optimal development of these areas is derived from positive and supportive relationships with adults. Our Program encourages children to be actively involved in the learning process, to experience a variety of developmentally appropriate activities, and to pursue their own interests as unique individuals. Sunshine Christian Daycare and Learning Center provides a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for our students. Our program operates from 7:00am to 6:00pm., Monday through Friday, and includes a nutritious breakfast, hot lunch, along with an afternoon snack.
