Jose Maymi, MD, is a highly experienced and board-certified urologist practicing in Brownsville, Texas. Dr. Maymi, who has been in practice for more than ten years, uses state-of-the-art medicine and customized care to help patients with urological conditions ranging from urinary tract infections and kidney stones to prostate and testicular cancer.
Dr. Maymi earned his medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he also served his internship and residency in urology. Dr. Maymi completed rigorous fellowship training in urology at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, in Iowa City, Iowa. Dr. Maymi is certified by the American Board of Urology.
