Well they finally came and cleaned the mold out of our ac unit but the chemicals that were used are incredibly strong and started burning our noses and throats. The service guy that came out seemed to of did a good job but he did\'nt put the cover back on the ceiling cover to the attic and all of our clothes in the closet was covered full of insulation and that shit is every where. Incompetent maintenance I guess is all they can hire here. If I could move I would but, for now things have to be fixed correctly just becouse we don\'nt have alot of money does not mean we still don\'nt have rights! I would recommend every one that can to move as soon as they can their health depends on it.

The Rio Hondo Village Apt. are very old and in need of much repair. Most of the apt. that I have noticed have gaps in the roof and the main wall structure which happend in our last hurricane but, was never fixed properly. Maintance is very poor in quility and know how. Our central units are fool of mold and slime and most of the people that live around me either try to clean it themselves or just deal with the horrible smell of mold and meldew. The central units have never been serviced since they were installed since before our last hurricane it will get very expensive for the owners if they are not cleaned properly if they have to start swopping them out for new units. The tiles on the floors are the old origanal ones that the apartments were origanly built with and they are full of esfistis (how ever you spell it) which is very toxic and dangerous to my kids and grandchildren that visit. Something has to be done about these very dangerous toxic situations. Our I will be taking further steps and calling the housing authourities out of Austin to make further complaints.
