Anderson's School of Tae Kwon Do

Grand Master Jimmy Anderson is a 8th Dan [8th Degree] Black Belt under the World Tae Kwon Do Federation, with 34 years of Martial Arts experience. The Greer native began his training in 1970 while in the Air Force where he, in turn, trained military personnel. At the end of his military service in 1974, he opened Anderson's School of Tae Kwon Do in his hometown. Since then, Grand Master Anderson has become well renowned not only in the state of South Carolina, but across the nation. His achievements include winning a silver medal in the 1994 Tae Kwon Do National Championships, a 12-0 kickboxing record, numerous state & tournament titles, and a movie credit in the 1985 Chuck Norris film, Invasion USA. Now retired from competition, Grand Master Anderson is one of the highest ranked United States Tae Kwon Do Union [USTU] referees in the nation. He is also the former Senior Vice President of the South Carolina Tae Kwon Do Association. Grand Master Anderson's students have also seen much success, winning many state and national titles. Grand Master Anderson attributes his personal success to his faith in Christ, whose teachings parallel the morals embraced by Tae Kwon Do. For Grand Master Anderson and his students, Tae Kwon Do is a way of life.
