Fine Dentistry
Krest Family Dental specializes in both general dentistry and orthodontia. All staff is courteous, attentive, and professional. I have been a patient for nearly six years, and my experiences have all been relatively pleasant because the dentists are very sensitive to nervous patients. Appointments are easily scheduled, and the dentists never seem to run behind schedule. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen.

Krest Family Dental is a terrible dentist office. The review by Pamela sounds like an advertisement/company plant. This place is run-down, lacks professionalism, has terrible customer service, and on top of that they arere scam artists. They do not like those that know their insurance coverage or understand procedures... they attempt to swindle and profit off of the innocent and the ignorant. If you know your stuff, prepare to wait hours and receive bad attitudes from the employees. I have never been to such a terrible dental establishment. Disappointed and Upset are insufficient words for my experience at Krest Family Dental. Do your research! There are others who have had the same bad experience with these crooks.

I never tried out their dentists. My experience is based on dealing with the orthodontic department and customer service to begin with.

Save yourself
With the recent construction, the floors look crack and a bit unsanitary. My appointment was at 4:30pm and got in for X-rays at 4:52 (which they do not have the nice X-ray machine that you bite and spines around your head). While waiting for the Dentist some of the staff was, quiet loud and gossiping. They really did not try to explain much of what was going to be cover or not until I ask what the cost where going to be, the sponsor person at our event had mention we would get complimentary cleaning and X-rays. This was not the case, they charge my dental plan, which know I have to pay $$$. I had specifically asked before any thing was done if I was going to be charge with anything, they stated that all charges would be cover under my plan. I definitely would not recommend this place and will be force to pay this bill. I left around 5:30pm very slow service and at the end they wanted to go over what other procedures I should have done. Run away.

Be Prepared to wait.
Long Wait Time: I waited nearly 2 1/2 hours for a routine exam and cleaning. The actual time I spent with staff attending to me was about 45 mins. My appointment was at 2pm. I checked in 10 minutes early, and wasn't called to a room until 2:35pm. I had x rays done, then had to wait 30 mins for the doctor to see me, then had to wait another 30-40 mins for a 10 min cleaning. My 2pm appointment lasted until 4:30.

Worth it
Loved the dentist and the assistant was very friendly. Before they start my treatment they told me exactly how much I would have to pay unlike my former dentist. There was some waiting involved but it was well worth it.

Run !
That was one horrible experience at this office starting with the CS staff, to their tricky contacts, Poor examinations, cleaning was messy, whatever happens and you have to go there as they are cheap compared to other others, although it's not worth it, in the end it's it will cost you more, do NOT give them any authorization to charge any of your accounts.Worldwide > United States > Los Angeles > Dentists
