Welcome to Western Medical Associates, where our physicians and nurse practitioners treat you as a whole person, not just a disease or diagnosis.

This includes obstetrics/prenatal care, pediatrics, adult and elder care, same-day urgent visits, DOT physicals, DEXA bone scans, and cosmetic procedures. Several of our staff specialize in women’s healthcare and the medical providers in our group like to emphasize the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and regular physical activity in our practice of medicine.

Our office is equipped with many state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and experienced practitioners who are well trained in use of this valuable technology. It is our practice to recommend regular screening exams to identify developing health problems as early as possible.

The Center for Bone Health

The Center provides bone density testing, also called densitometry or DEXA scan, can determine if you have osteoporosis or are at risk of osteoporosis before you break any bones. A bone density test uses special X-rays to measure how many grams of calcium and other bone minerals are packed into a segment of bone. Medical providers use a bone density test to determine if you have, or are at risk of, osteoporosis.
