His studies started in 1976 with Macrobiotics, which included Dietary therapy, Shiatsu massage and Qi Gong. He was board certified as an Acupuncture Physician in 1982 receiving Florida license number 72, and began his practice in North Carolina, moving it to Gainesville, FL in 1984.
