Set Up Inc The

The Set Up, Inc. opened its doors August 1, 1977 as the first computer/electronic typographer in Lee County. Located in downtown Cape Coral we moved from our first location down the block to our permanent location at 1211 Lafayette Street. For over 32 years, we have supplied area printers and advertisers with digital prepress services and have grown to include large format printing of banners, signage, vehicle graphics, etc. We provide daily pick-up and delivery in Cape Coral and Fort Myers.

The principles of the company are Jean Bersch, President and Tom Bersch, Secretary/Treasurer. Jean has a Bachelor of Music Education from Southern Illinois University/Carbondale. After teaching high school music for two years, she started her career in typesetting in 1972. Tom has a Graphic Arts degree from Stout State University in Menomonie, Wisconsin. He taught high school graphic arts and printing for six years at Warren Township High School in Gurnee, Illinois. Together they decided that warm southwest Florida was the best place to start their business.

As technology has improved, The Set Up, Inc. has endeavored to stay current with the industry, routinely upgrading equipment and software to offer the best possible product. Our computers, imagesetters, scanners and large format printers are maintained to current standards and our staff is always learning and improving their skills.
