Alexander Owens, DO

Alexander Owens, DO, specializes in family medicine at his practice in Naples, Florida. His goal is to listen to his patients with compassion and address their concerns using his years of expertise. Dr. Owens appreciates each patient as an individual, striving to provide the best possible care in every case.
The goal of Dr. Owens' practice is to operate as a one-stop-shop for various patient concerns. The entire family can receive treatment for a range of health issues that include sports injuries, neck pain, back pain, skin conditions, precancerous skin lesions, migraines, and more. He also offers services like annual physicals, Pap smears, cholesterol management, and other chronic disease management.
On top of an extensive array of treatments and services, patients can receive non-surgical interventions for specific conditions. These interventions include viscosupplementation injections and osteopathic manipulation. Dr. Owens’ goal is to have patients leave his office feeling better than when they came in.
The practice also offers state-of-the-art technology to help patients maintain optimal skin health. Dr. Owens uses the Cynosure® Icon™ aesthetic laser system for intense pulsed light (IPL) treatments and laser hair removal. These services allow patients to benefit from skin rejuvenation, wrinkle reduction, and scar minimization.
Dr. Owens is a graduate of the Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he completed his surgical internship at Broward General Medical Center. He went on to complete his residency at the same hospital.
Dr. Owens is affiliated with Naples Community Hospital in Naples, Florida. He's a member of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), the American Academy of Family Practitioners (AAFP), and the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association (FOMA), among others.  He is an active member of the Collier County Medical Society.
