Welcome to Owosso Surgical Associates. Our general surgery specialists, Walid Azmeh, MD and J. M. Vachhani, MD, MBA perform a wide variety of surgical services. In addition to abdominal surgery of the internal organs such as the intestines, stomach, small bowel, colon, liver and gallbladder, our surgeons also offer a variety of breast surgery services. Most surgeries are performed laparoscopically in order to minimize healing time. Minimally invasive procedures often result in less scarring and can significantly reduce pain experienced after surgery. We serve patients of all ages and are committed to providing caring and compassionate services before, during and after surgery. We work very closely with the region's primary care and oncology (cancer) providers to deliver outstanding customer service to patients referred to us for consultation and/or surgery. The Wound Center specialists provide the latest treatment options and technology in advanced wound care services. Once the wound team has determined the cause of origin of the wound, a variety of advanced clinical treatment options may be performed.
