Martin Bertram, MD

As a pain management and physical medicine specialist, Martin Bertram, MD, understands the effects that chronic pain can have on a person’s physical and mental health. He works with each of his patients in Springfield, Ohio in addition to surgery centers in Dayton, Columbus, Salt Lake City, and Ogden, individually tailoring treatment plans that get to the source of the pain, allowing them to return to the activities they love most.
From back pain to neuropathy, Dr. Bertram understands how the nervous system works and uses state-of-the-art technology and proven science to relieve debilitating pain, allowing his patients to move about freely again.
Dr. Bertram graduated from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago in 1990. From there, he completed his residency at Northwestern University Medical School, Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, in 1994.
Dr. Bertram is licensed in Ohio and Utah and is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, with a subspecialty in pain medicine; and the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Dr. Bertram is also a Fellow with the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
