The building gives this bar a real New Orleans feel. Brick walls. High ceilings. The people are of course too sedate to compare. Great place for a drink with friends.

How Mng Ryan solve a complaint
I use to go Mondays and Tuesdays to enjoy the jazz music with friends or alone. In one of these days I ordered a Corona and I tested the beer and seem that was flat, I told the manager that the beer is flat and the answer came “It has some bubble”, I said “has some bubble but still is flat” the beer tasted that has been open and forgotten in the fridge. I didn’t argue too much because I saw the way how manager Ryan solve the problem, pouring the beer in a warm glass to prove that beer has some bubbles. I refused to take that beer and I ordered another which I paid. In that night I paid two beer for one, but most frustrating thing was how the manager treated the complaint.

I loved going to Speaks!
I was a loyal patron of Speakeasy! Ryan, George, and Melanie were my favorites! Ryan and George are gone, but Melanie does a great job as manager!
