Very simply, The Gathering is a church following Jesus. It doesn't get much more complicated than that. Sure, we have theological distinctives which indicates what kind of church we are, but at our basic level, we are a New Testament, Great Commission Church that loves God, loves each other, and tries to minister to the world.
