Harsha Shanthaveerappa, MD

Dr. Harsha Shantha was born in Bangalore, India, where his family inspired him to be a physician. He chose to specialize in pulmonary/critical care because he found it the most fascinating and rewarding area of medicine, and he has not regretted that decision.

Dr. Shantha came to Chattanooga and the Diagnostic Center nearly three years ago from Morristown, Tennessee. When not at work helping patients, Dr. Shantha spends time with his wife and his two young sons. He also likes to play golf. The doctor finds a great sense of satisfaction in his work, noting that it is always fulfilling to assist very sick patients, and he is happy to be able to help others from all walks of life.
