1 Star is Too Many b/c A New Leaf Almost Ruined My Weddig

I was married on May 2, 2009 in Charleston, SC and despite the advice I was given by people very well versed in the event planning field decided to go with Annie Mueller and A New Leaf Studio because she was new and just starting out. As a young professional myself I wanted more than anything to give her my business. I would eventually realize that this was a huge mistake.
Annie was always a bit hard to get a hold of, but was initially very willing to work with me and my many changes. This all changed the WEEK OF my wedding. Annie was unable to make it to the walk through the week of and her assistant failed to show up despite agreeing to take Annie's place she also failed to call and let me know she would not be there. In addition to getting married that Saturday I was also in the middle of my final exams so I was unable to meet with Annie later that week. It was my understanding that she was clear on the changes that were made despite being absent at the walk through and if she was not she had my number, my mother's number, my wedding coordinator's number, and I was on-site starting at 12:30 as was the caterer so any questions she may have had about set-up could have easily been answered. Instead of delivering and setting-up the flowers at a reasonable hour for my 6:30p wedding her assistant delivered the flowers at 11:00am. When I arrived at 12:30 the bridesmaids bouquets were wilted as were the majority of the center pieces. The large buffet arrangements were left on the bar and I had to set-up several of the arrangements and votives because everything was LEFT not set-up but LEFT, again at 11:00am. I called Annie at her shop and on her cell phone and she did not call me back. My coordinator was finally able to get a hold of her and she assured her that her assistant would come fix whatever was wrong. Her assistant was yet again MIA and did not show up until the reception was over to collect everything. Annie refused to return my phone calls to address the problems until the following Tuesday and that was only because I threatened legal action. She has yet to take responsibility for what happened and has done everything she can to lay the blame on everyone from me to the caterer. If you want LIVE FRESH looking flowers DO NOT USE A NEW LEAF STUDIO use Lotus flower they saved my wedding.
