At Alpha House K9s in Anamosa Iowa our Dog Training Programs are devoted to helping you achieve a wonderful relationship with your dog.
Our programs are designed to meet each person's individual needs as well as expectations. Our one on one approach, combined with flexible scheduling allows you to proceed at your own pace. Our goal is to show you that your dog can learn to be obedient and reliable in and out of familiar environments as well as around real world distractions.
We believe every dog should be trained to five basic obedience commands at a minimum: Heel, Sit, Down, Place, and Come. This opens up basic communication between dog and owner, and allows for a much better relationship between the two. Training starts as early as 8 weeks with puppy class. On and off leash should be started at as early as 3 months of age.
Obedience training should be rewarding for you and your dog. It can improve your relationship with them. You deserve nothing less than a happy, obedient and reliable companion.
