Horrible attorney, don't hire him. He is ranked #133 in Modesto Attorneys, nearly the bottom of the list and I found out why. He was lazy, disorganized and dishonest with me about what he settled for in my divorce. He did not include me in any decisions about my divorce settlement and refused to show me the calculations and settlement details. After I threatened him with legal action, he admitted he made a $17,000 "minor math error" and would correct it but refused to show the error or the rest of the settlement. All negotiations were done behind closed doors with the opposing party and then Levatino lied saying everything was 50/50 . I had an accountant review my divorce and try to figure out why Mr Levatino was being evasive and refusing to show documentation and it became clear that I was the victim of poor representation. The settlement was grossly unbalanced and went so far to split my retirement account but gave my ex his as sole property. Levatino had lied and said that I'm reading it wrong, well what a shock when I found it was true. I asked Levatino why he lied his response was To lie again saying he explained everything to me. He was a disorganized mess and lost my paperwork more than once. I have reported him the BBB and to the Bar. Going through a divorce is difficult enough, you don't need a lawyer who just wants to take your money and not protect you. Do not hire!
